A.M.P.’D stands for “Alliance of Music Professionals” and is also the name of our performance group program for all ages that allows students to experience the thrill of playing with a real band. In addition to learning the professional way to practice and rehearse songs, students in the A.M.P.’D program also discover the commitment, dedication and incredible fun of putting together their very own band. All of their hard work pays off when they get to experience the awesome excitement of playing a real concert on a professional stage for a huge crowd.
The A.M.P.’D. alliance was created by Scott Graves (founder of the On Track Music Guitar School) and Sneez and Sherrie Senese (co-founders of the Groove Dr.’s drum program). The alliance also includes professional vocal coach Anjie Mickelsen, professional bassist Russ Hodges and professional keyboardist Rodney Strong. Together the members of the A.M.P.’D. teachers alliance are shaping students for stardom one band at a time.
