PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
In 2005 the Groove Drs partnered with the On Track Music Guitar School and together we offer our students the opportunity to perform regularly as Solo Artists, Duos, Acoustic Groups, and even as Full Blown Rock Bands. Our shows and venues range from intimate “coffee shop” style acoustic settings to incredible concert halls packed with thousands of spectators.
Major Concert Events that we produce every year include: “Winter Expo”- a more intimate rock venue event that features a full day of amazing music from our AMPD Student Rock Bands; and our “Summer Jam” concert- Another full day of fun in the sun with bands from our Summer Jam and AMPD band programs.
The Grandaddy of all of our events is our “On Track Music & Groove Dr's Student Fest” annual student music fair that takes place the third weekend in May.
An entire weekend of fun packed events featuring Solo Performances, Festival Groups, AMPD Band Concerts, and our “Great Gear Give Away” of thousands of dollars worth of killer prizes!
This Year's Student Fest will be held on May 19 & 20, 2023 at the Risen Life auditorium located at 2780 e. 3900 s. FREE admission. Open to the public of all ages.
